Our Beans
Colombia Monserrate
Weight 12 oz / 340 g
Monserrate is a community of 28 families some two hours down a bumpy dirt road from La Plata located in the Huila Region of Colombia. Each family has its own de-pulping and fermentation set up, along with raised drying screens protected from the rain by parabolic roofs of transparent plastic. Since every family contributes coffee for export, each fermentation and drying process has to be done perfectly, or it could compromise the entire shipment. Happily, the whole community takes great pride in their work, and the results show very nicely in the cup. Cupping notes: body - medium taste - all around pleasant; smooth finish the roast goes longer into second crack giving full coffee flavor; This Colombian brews up nice.

Drake's Espresso
12 oz. / 340 g.
This multi-bean blend is specifically roasted for enjoying a straight shot, Macchiato, Cappuccino and other espresso drinks. We taste test this blend using an Expobar Brutus machine, VersaLab M3 grinder and filtered water. The roast is light providing full flavor, smooth finish, amazing crema, balanced bitter-sweetness, strong chocolate tones and long aftertaste. Don't hesitate to brew this blend as normal coffee. Please contact us anytime to discuss pulling shots. Storage suggestion: immediately transfer beans into a glass, stainless or porcelain container with an air tight lid. Coffee does not like air and will go stale quickly if not kept in a sealed container. DO NOT refrigerate or freeze. Room temperature in a dark cupboard works the best.

Guatemala - La Flor del Café Antigua Region
Weight 12 oz / 340 g
For me to replace our long standing relationship (since 2004) with Finca Vista Hermosa you know this Guate has to be outstanding. Our initial cuppings were impressive and remarks from our bike shop customers (complementary servings) have been very positive. We have since re-ordered to provide this nice bean for the next several months. Roaster notes: light roasted; has nice medium body; rich; obvious chocolate tones
Hawaiian Kona - Captain Cook
Weight 8oz.
Certified 100% Kona coffee by the State of Hawaii Agriculture Department, this Kona coffee is purchased from the Captain Cook Company which has been growing coffee on the island of Kona since the late 1880’s. One does not have to be a serious connoisseur to know that the Kona Island grows world renowned coffee. Like many of our coffees, the Kona bean is roasted very light to capture all the qualities; the aroma is intensely rich, first sip fills your senses with full bodied flavor that has a very pleasant finish. This Kona coffee is rated Extra Fancy and comes with a high price & expectations – we believe the cup justifies both.
Honduras - Certified Transfair & Organic Grown
Weight 12oz./340 g
Centrally located in Central America, bordering top quality coffee growing countries Guatemala, El Savadore and Nicaragua is Honduras. Even with excellent climate conditions and optimum altitude, Honduras has neglected the specialty coffee market until recently. Typical Central American coffee with balanced brightness and body; nice clean finish;
Jamaican Blue Mountain - Clydesdale Estate
Weight 8oz./227g
How does one know if what you receive is 100% Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee? Having the position of being the worlds most expensive and rare coffee, the customer is often slighted with blends that have very few JBM beans. Aside from quality this was our primary concern in pursuing JBM. There is no regulation in the United States that prohibits roasters from selling coffee that isn’t Jamaica Blue Mountain under the Jamaica Blue Mountain label. So how do you know you’re getting 100% JBM coffee? You have my word. Our JBM is 100% certified. Roaster notes: This coffee is best light roasted; aroma is intense, sweet, taste has incredible balance, delicate body Aftertaste is soothing and lingers awhile – very pleasant!
Kenya - Fairview Estate
12 oz. 340g
This single estate coffee impressed us after the first cupping. As usual the importer sold out quickly, however we still have supply. Simply put this Kenya rates at the top. Aroma is pleasantly intense as is the flavor; balanced medium acidity & body.
Nicaragua
Weight 12oz./340 g
This is our first time offering a coffee from this country and based on our customers satisfaction it won't be the last. We take the roast just a bit further than our Guatemalan; the cup is nicely balanced with more body & less sharp than our other Central coffees; the flavor is smooth, clean and pleasant.
Peru - Trans Fair & Organic

A new offering that has everyone nodding with approval. One of our darkest roast; smooth, very flavorful, long aftertaste. Great choice to accompany a desert!
Tanzania Blackburn Estate

The Blackburn estate coffee is grown at extremely high altitude between 1750 & 1950 meters. This quality coffee cups similiar to our Kenyan Fairview with a bit more sweetness/juicy. The roast goes into second crack slightly longer than the Kenyan Fairview.
Uncle Leo's Decaffinated Blend - Swiss Water Process
12 oz. / 340 g.
This decaf blend has an incredible full flavor, medium body, delicately pleasant acidity and a very nice aroma. Some coffee drinkers love coffee but can not have caffeine, this cup will meet their needs. My Uncle Leo is eighty four years young, still drives everywhere (trips to Florida are still non-stop) without caffeine...we all wonder what he could do with it! The Swiss Water Process is a 100% chemical free coffee decaffeination method that results in great-tasting decaf coffee. Most other processes use chemical solvents, like methylene chloride, to decaffinate coffee beans. Conversely Swiss Water Process uses only water.
